David M. Cowan
Owner/Founder
David is the owner and founder of the firm. He has been a courtroom lawyer since 1990. His entire life’s work has been dedicated to representing those who have been harmed or killed by wrongful conduct. He earned his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in 1990. David is a 1986 graduate of the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration, with a minor in English.
Frank M. Cauthen, Jr.
Attorney
Frank was raised in Athens, Alabama. He attended Auburn University, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on East European Studies. He graduated from Auburn in 1985 and attended law school at The University of Alabama School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 1989. Frank was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Alabama in 1990. He owned his own law practice in Tuscaloosa from 2001-2018 that specialized in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.
Jonna Denson
Attorney
Jonna grew up in Addison, Alabama, a small town in Winston County. After graduating from Southern Benedictine College in Cullman, Alabama, she taught Special Education and first grade in the elementary school of her hometown of Addison. She later attended law school at night and upon receiving her law degree, Jonna practiced law primarily in the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation, and social security disability.

Amanda Bryant
Office Manager – Legal Assistant
Amanda was born and raised in Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2004. She has over 15 years experience and is currently our Office Manager and Chief Legal Assistant. Amanda resides in Odenville, Alabama with her husband Jeremy and their two daughters, Olivia and Emerson.
